A Brief Message

I've always had a big imagination, and I enjoy making work that encourages the viewer look beyond the surface level of the image. I also have a passion for communicating my views on social issues because I feel as though 'the media' tends to view certain things such as race relations and politics from a singular lens that doesn't regard the fact that there are multiple perspectives to view the issues from.

So, as a viewer, I want you to look at my work with an unbiased perspective and realize that things aren't always black and white.

I specialize in a variety of mediums such as pencil, colored pencil, oil pastel, and oil paint. The ultimate goal of my artwork is to create clear, colorful images depicting how I feel in the moment, while also including familiar scenes of notable figures that are slightly altered. - a similar, yet different reality.
